Cannabis Job Fair Hits Denver Colorado...

Denver - On Thursday (3/13/2014), job seekers by the hundreds, lined up to offer their skills at Colorado's first cannabis related job fair. Perhaps, even the first in the US.
The event was hosted by Colorado based, vaporizer manufacture, O.PenVape. "It has been pretty surprising the level of attention and interest we've received," Todd Mitchem, from O.penVape told The Denver Post. “Inside the cannabis industry, we are focused on professional, qualified people ... just like any other industry,” Mitchem said.
Besides O.PenVape, there were 15 other industry related representatives at the fair. From bud tenders and trimmers, to sales, accounting and IT professionals, the industry is offers a range of opportunities for employment.
Many insiders, suggest that this is just the beginning, of what is a booming cannabis market. And, it is projected to keep growing, as more state markets are opened to legalized and medicinal marijuana business's.
In order to keep up with this growth, the industry will need the skilled workforce to grow with it. It's expected that future, cannabis job fairs will be organized, to meet the demand. And based on the turn out today, there will be no shortage of applicants.
